The Muskegon County Fairground facility has numerous buildings, pavilions, and other areas designated for various uses. The fairgrounds are capable of entertaining thousands of people at once and providing ample parking. The special events area now has covered grandstand seating.

Camping is available with electric hookups only; a dump station with water is provided as well as a full bath house facility.

The fairgrounds are the perfect setting for: family reunions, horse shows and other livestock events, corporate picnics, rodeos, demolition derby events, concerts and many other activities!

Please complete this application and submit for rental consideration of the fairgrounds facility.

Bathroom Facilities:

There are three separate bathroom facilities located on the fairgrounds, two of which are equipped with showers. The bathroom facilities are open May through October. It is the responsibility of the renter to arrange for additional portable restrooms in the event they are needed.

Cleanup:

Non-animal events – Trash is to be picked up and placed in the dumpster.

Animal events – Trash is to be picked up and placed in the dumpster.

Manure is to be removed from the building(s) and placed in designated areas, then removed from the grounds by the renter unless other arrangements have been made.

A damage/clean-up deposit that is twice the rental fee may be required for any rented building or arena at the fairgrounds. The deposit will be returned after satisfactory inspection of the premises by the custodian or appointed Fair Board Representative, within two weeks after the rental date.

Other Rental Information:

* All renters must supply (prior to use) a “Certificate of Liability Insurance” covering the scheduled activity/event.

*Only legally responsible adults over the age of 21 may schedule an event and rent the facilities.

The Fair Board meets the third Tuesday of each month. The Board will review and make a determination on each application on a first come/first serve basis.
